Hello again guys~! (^ _ ^)/

It’s already February 17 of 2012 and I have so many pending posts and articles that I have to publish. Been busy the first few days of this week thanks to our monthsary and ofcourse, the Valentines’ day. I can’t believe my boyfriend and I have already been together for almost three years! The 13th of next month would be our third anniversary. Time sure flies fast. (+_+)

For this post, I’ll first talk about our monthsary and what we did on our special day. There isn’t really much to tell since we just went to his mother’s place, visited the new condo unit that he’ll be moving to by the end of next month and ate out for dinner. The latter was a little more special, or atleast for me. The photos below is the reason why it was, aside from the fact that I’m having dinner with my loving boyfie. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Last January 14, 2012, My sister and I decided to eat out to celebrate the rejection of her thesis proposal. Haha. Just kidding. Kidding aside, she actually invited me to eat out because she would be very busy from the next day onwards. Because being around Manila is getting boring, she suggested going to Greenbelt and I gladly agreed since I haven’t been to Greenbelt for a long time now. She wanted to eat at a restaurant that we haven’t tried out yet; and when we passed by a Japanese restaurant, she said, “This is it.”

Click the image above to ask me a question!

I saw this questions from Angela’s blog post and decided to answer them myself even though i wasn’t really tagged. :)

Q&A:

1. Would you ever get yourself inked (tattooed)? If yes, what design would you get?
Hmm, probably not since I don’t really like my skin to be inked now or ever.

2. How do you feel about gay marriages being legalized?
Oh, it is totally fine with me. I am pretty open about it. It is their life, let them be. They are the writers of their own story. Who are we to stop them? I have gay friends as well. They kinda confide in me and all that which is why I deeply understand how they feel.

3. If you were the president/prime minister of (insert your country here), what would be your number one priority?
Education! The reason why the country isn’t improving because there just ain’t enough education. The younger generations should be smarter and more intelligent than the older generations but it is the other way around here! How can the country improve when its people’s brains are landsliding?

4. Do you think you have what it takes to become a parent?
No, which is why I didn’t really plan on having a kid of my own. I am thinking more of the adoption side because for me, there are a lot of kids out there who needs a parent. Being a parent isn’t only about having a baby of your own. It is about the feelings and the bond you and the child have. But ofcourse, because of my boyfriend, I am also thinking of having my own, for his sake and mine as well. ‘Coz I might regret it when the time comes. :/

5. Would you ever attempt to argue with a drunk person? Why?
No, nothing good will happen by doing so.

6. If you had a chance, would you go back in time to change anything? If yes, what would you change?
Yes, I would like to change my whole life. Okay, maybe not that much. Just the part where I took up IT and didn’t bother considering other courses.

7. You get dared to dye your hair an outrageous color and keep it for a month, what color would you go for. (PS : BLONDE/GINGER does not count as an outrageous color)
Carnation pink! Totally hot. Red would do too. The bloody red one, not the maroon red. :P

8. Would you rather eat frog’s legs or adobong aso?
Frog’s legs. I’ve tasted them. Very yummy. They are actually one of my faves. Haha.

9. It’s the first time you’ll be cooking a meal for your “love interest/partner”… What do you cook for him/her?
Er, this is hard. I dunno how to cook so I’ll probably just make a fried chicken. Very easy to do! :D

10. You’re running late for a meeting but you see an elderly woman trying hard to cross a busy street, what do you do?
Stop and help her ofcourse. I’m already late anyway, it wouldn’t hurt to be seconds more late just to help an elderly woman.

11. Are you pro-choice or pro-life, and why?
Pro-choice. :) I won;t answer the why part. Teehee.

To those who wants to answer these questions as well. Feel free to do so! :D

October 21, 2011

My schoolmates/classmates invited me to go swimming with them at Duhat, Bulacan. Even though I didn’t know how to swim, I went with them anyway.

We rode the bus to Duhat from Doroteo Jose. It was my first time riding a bus to Bulacan and I was quite excited about it. Since it was still very early, there are only very few people riding the bus with us, it almost felt like we rented the bus!

After arriving at Duhat, my good friend who lives in Bulacan went and fetched us from where we were dropped off. In a short while (like, really really short since the resort wasn’t so far from where we were waiting), we arrived at the resort. It was nice, pretty normal and cheap as well. It only costs P100/head/day ($2.3) and the table costs P500 ($12).

This impromptu Rotaract Club of Chinatown-Manila fellowship was planned after attending the Jazzin’ Manila event last Saturday night. We were supposed to grab dinner in some restaurant, but one of our members suggested we go to his place for dinner.

He was supposed to cook dinner for us (he’s a chef) since he volunteered to do so before we decided to go to his place. We did all we could in helping him with cooking and it was such a great experience, especially for me since I’m not really gifted when it comes to kitchen duties. Lol.

Yesterday, at exactly one hour and thirteen minutes ago, was Valentines’ Day. I woke up around 9 AM and totally forgot about it ‘til lunch time. And like every couples do, or most of them, J and I spent the day together with smiles and love. We went mall-hopping. First we went to Gateway where we met up and spent the time roamimg around window-shopping. We got bored since Gateway was really small, we went to Trinoma. There we ate at Mei Lin, our favorite restaurant that serves P99 hand-pulled noodles. As usual, I ate my favorite Kimchi noodles. (Yes, I LOVE kimchi!) Too bad I wasn’t able to take photos. T-T Anyway, our last stop was SM North Edsa (and Annex), where we just looked around for a bit.

And ofcourse, a sweet day without a dinner is incomplete. We were supposed to have a barbecue at his place but then his friends suggested we eat out. We were supposed to be in group but it later turned out they are going to have their band practice first (yes, they have a band) and so we decided to just go and have a dinner ourselves, just the two of us. We went to Greens, my favorite vegetarian restaurant but it was already closed by that time and so we opted to eat at Kimono Ken instead. And I’d say it wasn’t such a bad choice. We ordered miso soup and California Maki for appetizer. I ordered Gyoza and Chahan while he ordered Katsudon. As for dessert, we had Coffee Jelly. It was a wonderful meal.

Now, Valentines’ Day is a day of love, but that doesn’t mean just because you are single, you have to be so depressed and alone for this day. I saw a lot of Facebook statuses of my feeds early yesterday and there were comments such as “Happy Valenties’ Day to all. I’m alone again this year” or something like, “Who should I give my love to this year?” Honestly, Vday is not only for couples, it is for sharing your love, showing it, expressing it, may it be to your special someone, to your family or to your friends. No one said Vday is couples’ day; instead, it is hearts day, day to show your love to those whom you love or maybe admire.

I may have spent my day like all the couples out there this year, but I spent my Vday with my family last year. It may be too late now, but even though it may not be Vday anymore doesn’t mean you have to stop showing your love. Invite your family to dinner tonight or schedule a movie date with your friends.

In fact, for me, I think Vday is nothing special, I mean, you can express your love everyday with no limits, no boundaries. Why must we limit ourselves to express our love to a day?

PS. I guested for a make-up segment on last February 13, Valentines’ Special episode of USGIRLS show of Studio23. The top I wore was actually a top given to me by my cousin, Genina, during our winter break at China. And yes, I wore it there too! (photo above) To those who wasn’t able to watch the episode, you may watch it at Studio23.tv
